Career Framework is a term used to describe an approach to people management that links together different people management processes.
The HCE Career Framework features multiple job families & sub- families. Within the Framework, jobs are organised into levels or grades or bands of work, where the complexity of work at each level is consistent across all job families. This enables the organisation to understand, justify & manage pay diversity, and offers the employee sight of progression opportunities across different families.
The HCE Career Framework typically links together the different aspects of people management including reward management, organisation health & design, capacity planning, & capability development.
The HCE Career Framework enables the employer to demonstrate consistency, fairness & equity in the way employees are managed, developed & rewarded.
